DePuy Inc., a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is currently recruiting for a WW Director, Human Resources - Spine, located in Raynham, MA.

DePuy, Inc. develops and markets products under DePuy Orthopaedics, Inc., DePuy Spine, Inc., Codman & Shurtleff, Inc. and DePuy Mitek. Among these are products for reconstructing damaged or diseased joints; repairing and reconstructing traumatic skeletal injuries; facilitating the treatment of spinal disorders and deformity; surgical treatment of neurological and central nervous system disorders, and sports medicine devices for the treatment of soft tissue injuries. The largest of Johnson & Johnson's medical device businesses, DePuy has six main locations: Warsaw IN, Raynham MA, Leeds, UK, Cork, Ireland, Suzhou, China and Neuchatel Switzerland.

Reporting to the Worldwide Vice President of Human Resources, DePuy Franchise, and the WW Human Resources Director will lead the Spine Human Resources Team and also lead the Human Resources Operations Team. WW Human Resources Director, Spine will work closely with DePuy's Spine Management Board providing human resource leadership to a growing organization that encompasses over 750 employees. This position will participate on the DePuy Management Board providing input on company priorities and acting as an internal consultant to board members.

The WW Human Resources Director, Spine will provide HR leadership to senior management and will develop and implement effective human resource strategies to support overall business objectives, including (but not limited to): Organizational design and effectiveness, mergers & acquisition integration activities, change management, employee relations, leadership & team development, employee engagement, diversity awareness, talent acquisition and retention, employee development, performance management, succession planning and integration management.

Practical experience leading change and increasing organizational effectiveness within dynamic organizations is needed. This position will have supervisory responsibility for 6 HR professional across the DePuy businesses.


REQUIREMENTS - QUALIFICATIONS: Worldwide Director of Human Resources - DePuy Spine

Minimum of a Bachelor Degree required; Masters Degree or MBA strongly preferred. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' experience and broad functional expertise in talent management, talent assessment, compensation, organizational design, change management, training and development, diversity awareness, employee relations and employment law. Previous experience managing through complex mergers and acquisition activities are highly preferred, previous experience supporting a Global business is required. Specific attributes needed for this role are as follows (but not limited to): Ability to lead and motivate others to achieve objectives; Ability to consult with, challenge and influence senior management to align processes and practices with business objectives; Strong business process and customer focus skills including: giving and receiving feedback, active listening, conflict resolution, negotiation, group facilitation, delegation, coaching, influencing and visioning. Demonstrated critical thinking, ability to deal with ambiguity and complex problem-solving and project management skills. Strong analytical skills, process orientation and business savvy. Experience in implementation of talent management processes and programs including talent assessment, talent development, performance management and succession planning. Results oriented with strong track record of success in delivering on objectives in a highly ethical and professional manner consistent with the J&J Credo. Demonstrated skills as a collaborative member in a team environment required. Highly developed interpersonal and influence management skills required. Ability to deal with ambiguity and offer solutions to complex issues required.
