Responsible for all aspects of clinical supplies activities supporting clinical studies ensuring forecasting, providing input in packaging & labeling, communicating with internal teams and external vendors on the specific needs of the clinical supply plan and managing shipping and drug accountability at the site and patient levels. Perform, track, and communicate on clinical supplies related activities to cross-functional teams. Manage clinical supplies activities surrounding the distribution and shipment of investigator drug and comparator for clinical studies to assure uninterrupted supply (planning, maintenance, replenishment, replacing material before expiration). Provide strong link between Clinical Development & Operations, Supply Chain and Logistics. Work closely with Clinical Operations to determine and forecast clinical supply requirements from protocol designs, drugs accountability, and monitor inventory. Supervise multiple external vendors (depots, IXRS (heavy emphasis in IXRS), EPD) to complete all tasks required for successful completion of the projects. Responsible for overseeing clinical supplies operations. Supervise external vendors. Provide direction to internals. High – potentially interrupt drug supplies to support clinical studies. Interact with Clinical Supplies, Clinical Operations, Clinical Program, CMC/Logistics. Excellent problem-solving skills. Excellent planning, negotiating, and communication skills. Sound knowledge of supply planning, packaging, labeling, distribution and shipping procedures. Knowledge of cGMPs and GCPs. QUALIFICATIONS: 5-6 years experience in pharmaceutical or technology industry, including a minimum of 1 year in packaging and labeling design and/or supply chain activities of supplies. Bachelor degree or equivalent experience, preferably in science, engineering, or pharmacy discipline. APICS certification (certification in Production and Inventory Management or certification in Supply Chain Profession) is desirable.
