The Senior Analyst, Procurement Business Services Process & Technology is responsible for partnering with all the members of the Global Procurement function to drive procurement best practices, usage of our global technology and foster a community of open communications and information sharing. This individual will understand customer business needs via voice of customer, analysis and ongoing monitoring and translate needs into process and system requirements on a strategic and tactical level and will collaborate with cross-functional and cross-company groups to implement and manage business process improvements and will act as the voice of the customer. The Senior Analyst, Procurement Business Services Process & Technology will expand education and use of processes, systems tools, metrics and templates with sourcing and regional organization representatives, act as a liaison with key business partners to include Accounts Payable, Corporate Audit, Corporate IM, Corporate Strategic Sourcing, Process & Technology and key project team leaders. The Senior Analyst, Procurement Business Services Process & Technology will ensure compliance with Information Technology testing protocol, Corporate Internal Audit recommendations and Sarbanes Oxley regulations thus providing compliance value for the organization. Projects include: Understand and help improve the current Procurement guidelines, policies and procedures. Audit of application alignment with current business operating procedures. Align systems usage to support policies, procedures and guidelines. Manage the Global Procurement: Systems SharePoint site. Build and execute an effective communication strategy including creation and delivery of training materials. Supervise the outsourced help desk functions of the Ariba Support and Ariba Empowerment teams. Drive the management and activities of the Site Coordinator community. Manage and coordinate User Acceptance Testing on relevant system changes. Conduct, organize and coordinate action items pertaining to annual Sox Certification. Support corporate Records Retention strategy and policy. REQUIREMENTS - QUALIFICATIONS: SR ANALYST PBS PROCESS TECH A minimum of a Bachelors degree is required with 2 years experience in a combination of procurement, business, information technology, finance, and/or marketing . Project management experience is preferred. The ability to interpret large amounts of information and present to varying levels of the organization is required. An entrepreneurial self-starter with strong oral and written communication skills is required. Presentation skills, decision-making/problem solving, influencing skills, and matrix management adaptability is required. This candidate must have the ability anticipate and resolve complex problems independently, while developing solutions that typically become best practice/policies/procedures and work approach by long-term objectives. MS Office proficiency, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required. Six Sigma/Process Excellence tools, training and/or certification are preferred. Previous experience with SAP, Views, and Ariba is preferred. This position requires up to 10% domestic travel and is based in New Brunswick, NJ.
