Ensure uninterrupted access to quality, efficient, high-performance computer services at Perceptive locations. Provide thorough technical systems Support at Perceptive locations. Work with other System Managers, Applications and Operations staff to promote standardisation and validation of computing environments. Identify operational problems, and manage improvements, documenting methods of troubleshooting and correction for future use. Contribute to the improvement of system performance and reliability. Maintain standardization of computing environments. Ensure service delivery targets and operational requirements are met. Provides Technical expertise on Server, storage, backup, networking, and business applications along with other solutions\services that Perceptive Informatics host. (not limited by location) Manage and administer the systems infrastructure. Perform new installations and upgrades of servers or support of Operations and/or Development. Perform capacity management of servers and systems, usage tuning, regular monitoring. Perform User Account Administration. Manage and administer Network Operating Systems (NOS) both Linux and Windows. Manage and administer multiple Applications and Servers, performing Systems Administration and Management for the platforms and OS. Manage and administer specific infrastructure components Works on major projects (under direction) when required. Support and maintain IP-based and other networking protocol implementations in IT environment. Perform basic monitoring of network and/or system infrastructure using hardware and software tools and provide reports as necessary. Troubleshoot networking and/or system infrastructure problems and provide resolution. Work with other IT teams to develop and implement networking and/or system solutions to support business requirements. Participate in the testing and selection of infrastructure equipment. Perform major system upgrades to networking and/or system infrastructure. Provide detailed documentation of the networking and system infrastructure. Interface with providers and/or clients to resolve networking and/or system connectivity issues. Perform capacity management, usage tuning, regular monitoring for systems and network infrastructure. Specific experience is required in one or more of the following technical areas: Messaging Systems, Network Operating Systems (Linux, Windows), and others, Networking, and Telecommunications.
