Manager, SetWorld Operations
We are currently seeking a Manager, SetWorld Operations, who will be responsible for managing daily operations of Aesculap’s National Loaner Pool (Set World). Duties include controlling inbound/outbound assemble of sets; inventory management, establishing par levels of sets/products, ensure the accurate, timely delivery of requested sets/products and traceability for implants. Continuous process improvement with emphasis on training footprints, documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Lean principles are key success factors. Management of the Team Supervisors/Leads; and provide monthly key performance indicators (KPI) tracking.

Responsibilities involve strategic and technical planning for: WMS & SAP systems that will drive process improvements throughout the St Louis Operations Center, along with maintaining proper inventory levels to support business requirements.

The primary success factor is to assure compliance with all set world established protocols, procedures, ensuring customer satisfaction, meeting service level and response time objectives across all areas of responsibility maintaining Aesculap’s reputation as an ethical supplier of product and service.

Your Responsibilities
•Manage and refine processes as needed for check in, assembly, shipping, tracking, returns and decontamination to meet established quality and throughput objectives.

•Leadership of the Set World Operations team in the coordination of daily workload activities ensuring set and restock orders ship to meet the customer request date.

•Create a sense of urgency for NFO (Next Flight Out) orders and orders with a short lead time; while maintaining a structure focused on quality and GMP standards.

•Strong analytical, process and people development skills; analyzes “as is” business processes, determines improvements, and defines the “to be” process.

•Develops and documents needs requirements. Determines appropriate process measurements and implements methods to institute these measures.

•Gains alignment from managers and stakeholders regarding process change activities.
Works closely with Inventory Control to ensure implementation meets business and customer requirements.

•Leads by and demonstrates Aesculap’s vision and values daily.
•Strong interpersonal skills to interface with various disciplines and resolve problems elevating to a higher level.

•Establish processes and procedures to handle each department’s area of focus are consistent with ISO 13485 certification and other quality protocols.

•Meet monthly productivity/quality goals through effective and efficient use of resources.

•Document compliance related request related to reportable incidents to compliance coordinator.

•Ensure all protocols are followed and personnel policies are administered accurately and consistently.

•Utilize Lean principles for continuous process improvement.

•Provide timely and effective feedback to all team members including performance reviews, developmental plans, and disciplinary actions as needed.

•Heighten the emphasis on a positive motivational and teamwork environment in order to maintain high morale through awards, recognition and creative techniques.

•Able to work independently and complete projects according to business timelines.
Works professionally and demonstrates excellent business judgment.

•Support internal cycle count program to meet external auditor requirements
•Must comply with applicable ISO and FDA regulations as stated in the Quality Manual.
•Must embody the Company’s Vision, Mission and Values

Your Expertise:
•Requires a BA/BS or work experience equivalent.
•Experience and/or working knowledge of the quality and throughput requirements of a National Loaner program for patient implant surgeries.
•6-8 years supervising/managing a service, distribution, quality or central supply function in a hospital environment.
•Working experience in assembling operation sets and inventory tracking system
