The Asset Management Specialist will have direct accountability and oversight of the processes, procedures, and computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) used to track assets and plan preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities and calibration activities for the site. The Asset Management Specialist will plan, schedule and monitor maintenance/metrology activities in support of site manufacturing. The incumbent will work with an asset management team consisting of both BMS and outsourced facility partners responsible for regular generating/processing work order documentation, producing maintenance forecasts, and planning major maintenance with customers. This role includes several responsibilities specific to maintenance of the CMMS, including the processing of change requests arising from customers and work orders, managing CMMS system upgrades, adopting available electronic technologies (such as wireless/paperless work orders and electronic change control). The Asset Management Specialist is accountable for the compliance of the metrology and preventive maintenance CMMS, including CMMS validation documentation and standard operating procedures. As required, the incumbent will support the Maintenance & Reliability manager by providing subject matter expertise and/or maintenance/calibration documentation to support regulatory inspections and internal audits. The Asset Management Specialist will work within a team framework with other F&E functions in order to support initiatives such as capital projects and facility engineering improvements. As necessary, this individual will interface with our outsourced facility counterparts to ensure that shared objectives (such as monthly PM and calibrations) are achieved. Most importantly, the Asset Management Specialist will maintain a continuous interface with our operations customers to ensure alignment of asset management and maintenance planning priorities. REQUIREMENTS - QUALIFICATIONS: ASSET MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST Bachelors Degree in Business, Engineering or related discipline, with 4 to 6 years of relevant experience. Experience in production maintenance environments, preferably within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical or biologics operation, including a strong understanding of and prior experience in asset management and computerized maintenance planning. Experience working in an outsourced facility maintenance environment is a plus. Demonstrated experience with administration of CMMS/CCMS systems such as IBM Maximo is a must. Working knowledge of FDA regulations and fundamental principles of systems qualification and documentation practices, especially as they pertain to CMMS environments. The incumbent will emphasize customer service, lean thinking, teamwork, and process streamlining to ensure that customers receive value and prompt service from the site maintenance organization.
